The West Hertfordshire Teaching School Partnership is a job share between Hammond Academy and Bovingdon Primary Academy with additional strategic partner schools across Hertfordshire.

 

This is a new, innovative and exciting initiative and we are delighted to be in the first one hundred Teaching Schools, only thirty five of which are primary schools in the entire country.

 

We will be offering a range of professional development to all schools in Hertfordshire and liaising closely with the other two Hertfordshire Teaching Schools; Wroxham Teaching School in Potters Bar and Herts and Essex Teaching School in Bishops Stortford.

 

The West Hertfordshire Teaching School Partnership is led by Martin Mangan , Head Teacher from Bovingdon Academy and Gail Porterfield, Principal of Hammond Academy.  Our strategic partners include National and Local Leaders of Education, giving us a wealth of talent, experience and expertise to draw upon.
